About This Training

ZEF's Packaging Technology & Operations training is a practical programme of 3–4 months covering packaging materials, packaging design principles, production, quality control, food and pharma packaging awareness and operations. You finish with a packaging project.

Why 3 to 4 months? Every batch covers the same modules, practical work and assessments. Full-time weekday batches finish in about 3 months; part-time evening or weekend batches, and learners who need extra practice before the final assessment, take up to 4 months.

Benchmarked against the IoPP Certified Packaging Professional body of knowledge and Codex and ISO packaging hygiene guidance (awareness).

Questions

Does the training cover pharmaceutical packaging?

Pharma and food packaging are covered at an awareness level, including why they need stricter controls. Detailed regulatory work requires company-specific training.

Are there factory visits?

Where access allows, visits to packaging lines are included, with safety briefings.

Can this help my own product business?

Yes. Entrepreneurs learn to choose suitable, affordable packaging and work with suppliers, which matters for shelf life and sales.
