Privacy Policy

What we collect

• When you enquire or apply: your name, mobile/WhatsApp number, city, optional email, the course you are interested in and your message.
• Where you came from: the page you were on and campaign details (for example UTM tags and ad click IDs), so we know which adverts work.
• When you create a student account: your name, father’s or husband’s name (printed on certificates), mobile number (your login), optional email and a password (stored encrypted).
• While you study: your enrolments, lesson progress, quiz attempts, assignment submissions, marks, feedback, certificates and live-class attendance.
• Payments: invoices and payment records. We do not store card details.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy. Analytics and advertising tools load only if you accept them.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and help you choose a course (by phone, WhatsApp or email).
• To run your account, courses, assessments and certificates.
• To let employers and institutions verify a certificate you share with them.
• To improve our courses, website and services, and to measure our adverts.
• To meet legal, financial and safeguarding obligations.

Who we share it with

• Your teachers and our staff, only as needed for your studies and support.
• Partner employers, only for students who agreed to share their profile for a hiring request.
• Service providers who help us run the site and classes (for example hosting and video-meeting providers), under agreements to protect your data.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable time after. Student records, marks and certificates are kept so certificates can be verified and records reissued. Financial records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or stop marketing messages, by writing to info@zef.org.pk or messaging us on WhatsApp. Some records (such as issued certificates and financial records) may need to be kept.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, role-based staff access and audit logs. No system is completely secure; please keep your password private.
