About This Training

ZEF's Auto Electrician & EV Technology training is a practical programme of 3–4 months covering automotive electrical systems, batteries, charging, sensors, diagnostics, EV architecture, high-voltage safety and basic hybrid systems. Training is hands-on in the workshop.

Why 3 to 4 months? Every batch covers the same modules, practical work and assessments. Full-time weekday batches finish in about 3 months; part-time evening or weekend batches, and learners who need extra practice before the final assessment, take up to 4 months.

Benchmarked against the ASE A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems and L3 Hybrid/EV tasks and the IMI Level 2 electric vehicle qualification content.

Questions

Will I work on electric vehicles?

You learn EV architecture and high-voltage safety procedures, using training equipment and available vehicles. Live high-voltage repair requires further manufacturer-specific training.

Do I need to be a mechanic first?

It helps but is not required. Basic electrical knowledge makes the training easier, and beginners get extra support in the first weeks.

Is EV work in demand in Pakistan?

EV and hybrid numbers are growing, and trained technicians are scarce. Electrical diagnosis skills are also needed for all modern petrol and diesel vehicles.
