About This Training

ZEF's Water & Wastewater Treatment Technician training is a practical programme of 3–6 months covering water treatment, filtration, disinfection, pumps, controls, wastewater treatment, testing and monitoring. You finish with a plant practical.

Why 3 to 6 months? Every batch covers the same modules, practical work and assessments. Full-time weekday batches finish in about 3 months; part-time evening or weekend batches, and learners who need extra practice before the final assessment, take up to 6 months.

Benchmarked against the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality and entry-level water and wastewater operator certification topics.
