AutoCAD & Civil Drafting

ZEF's AutoCAD & Civil Drafting training is a practical programme of 3–4 months covering drawing standards, AutoCAD 2D, plans, sections, details, site drawings, quantity take-off and plotting. You finish with a drawing portfolio you can show employers.

Why 3 to 4 months? Every batch covers the same modules, practical work and assessments. Full-time weekday batches finish in about 3 months; part-time evening or weekend batches, and learners who need extra practice before the final assessment, take up to 4 months.

Benchmarked against NAVTTC’s Civil Draftsman (AutoCAD) curriculum approach (about 90% practical) and the Autodesk Certified Professional: AutoCAD exam objectives.

   • Produce a professional, print-ready drawing set

   Hands-on

   • Assemble a portfolio drawing set with title blocks and revisions

You complete a timed drafting test from a marked-up sketch and submit a drawing portfolio. Assessors check accuracy, standards, layers, dimensions and plot quality. Your result is Competent or Not yet competent, with a chance to retake.
