Questions
What is included in the MDCAT preparation course?
About 322 hours of teaching over 3 months, on campus or live online, covering all 61 chapters and 326 sub-topics of the PMDC syllabus. You get 13,700 practice MCQs graded easy, moderate and hard, a test after every chapter, 4 full-length mock MDCATs reviewed in class, recordings of online classes, notes, guess papers and a certificate.
How many MCQs are in the MDCAT, and how is it weighted?
Under the PMDC Uniform Curriculum MDCAT-2025, the MDCAT has 180 MCQs: Biology 81 (45%), Chemistry 45 (25%), Physics 36 (20%), English 9 (5%) and Logical Reasoning 9 (5%), across 61 chapters. ZEF teaches every one of these chapters. Check the latest PMDC notice for the exam date and rules before you register.
Who can join the MDCAT preparation course?
F.Sc. Pre-Medical (or equivalent, e.g. A-Level with Biology, Chemistry and Physics), completed or appearing in the final examination. A counsellor can confirm whether you meet the requirements before you enrol.
Does ZEF provide MDCAT chapter-wise MCQs?
Yes. The course has 13,700 practice MCQs spread across every chapter: 4,400 in Biology, 3,400 in Chemistry, 2,400 in Physics, 3,000 in English and 500 in Logical Reasoning, graded easy, moderate and hard. You also take a test after every chapter, practise on the last 15 past papers and sit 4 full-length mock MDCATs.
Are MDCAT preparation books and notes included?
Yes. Every student gets chapter-wise notes and chapter-wise MDCAT preparation books, alongside live lectures and recorded lectures arranged chapter by chapter, so you can revise any topic in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English or Logical Reasoning again whenever you need to.
How does ZEF plan my MDCAT preparation?
You start with a mandatory initial assessment test. Your results shape a personalised study plan, and daily and weekly assessments show your progress. Before the exam you get final guess papers, exam time-management planning, guidance on how to attempt the paper and an online MCQ test.
Can I prepare for MDCAT online with ZEF?
Yes. ZEF is an online platform: you can join live online classes from anywhere in Pakistan, or study on campus in cities across Pakistan. Both follow the same plan: every chapter and sub-topic, a test after each chapter and 4 timed mock MDCATs, and every online class is recorded so you can revise or catch up.
